Callum Blue曾经出演过《Related》, 《The Tudors》和《Secret Diary of a Call Girl》的他这次将参与《Smallville》的拍摄，他将饰演大坏蛋Zod，他将在第九季中出现，首播将是9月25日。
他是Krypton星球上罪恶的源头， Zod这个角色曾经在超人2中由Terence Stamp饰演过，巧合的是，在
Smallville中Stamp为Clark他的爸爸Jor-El配音。
Zod将出现在Smallville中，这在第八季的结尾似乎有着预示，Tess在Luthor的家中看到了炙热的“Z”
Zod并不是我们的Clark唯一需要面对的坏蛋，根据编剧的透露，Brian Austin Green将会带着Metallo回到小镇，在第九季最初的2集中。
